Education is a right way for every child, but many girls still struggling to get opportunities to learn. Pehchaan-The Street School, an NGO founded in 2015 by Mr Akash Tandon is working hard to ensure that underprivileged children’s especially girls have the chance to got to school. Pehchaan-The Street School is not just providing education but also fighting for gender equality in education, helping to close the gap between boys and girl child. In India, mostly in many place girls are often not sent to school because of social,cultural or economic reasons. Underprivileged families may be too poor to afford education or they may expect girls to work at home or get married early but many parents feel that educating boys is more important so girls miss our on the opportunity to learn more . Pehchaan-The Street School understands this problem and has made it their goal to fight for equal education for both boys and girls. They work in underprivileged areas and local communities where girls are most likely to be left out of school. By providing free education to all underprivileged children, Pehchaan-The Street School is giving girls the chance to learn. Pehchaan-The Street School also works with families to help them to understand how important it is to send their daughters to school. They talk to parents and show them how education can lead to a better future for their daughters . Pehchaan-The Street School does more than just provide education. They also give underprivileged children’s the things they need to succeed, like books, uniforms and meal for them where they make sure that girls don’t miss school because their families can’t afford supplies. Pehchaan-The Street School also encourages girls to think about careers in area like maths, science, and technology, more . Which are often seen jobs for men.
Pehchaan-The Street School has helped many underprivileged children’s , there is still a lot to be done. The organizations continues to work hard to make sure girls get the education they deserve. They also work with the government to make sure that programs for underprivileged children reacg the areas where they are most needed. Pehchaan-The Street School is showing that change is possible. By giving girls the chance to learn and grow and achieve their dreams, and in doing so they are helping to create a more just and equal society.
