Trigger Warning: Mentions of sexual harassment, suicide
A month after, Arpita Sahu, Civil Judge of Banda district of UP alleged sexual harassment by fellow district judge & sought permission to end her life from Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud in an open letter, another ill-fated incident came from Buduan district of UP, where Jyotsna Rai (27), Civil Judge (Junior Division), who is native of Mau District of UP was found dead in her official residence.
Jyotsna was found hanging from her ceiling fan inside her room. Police recovered a suicide note from her room. Jyotsna's father raises concerns and calls it a murder. Police has registered a FIR against unknown. Further investigation is being conducted by police.
