As a recovering reel addict, I can now step back and see how deep the pit was. This is going to be a serious problem for the future generations. I knew a life without internet, without chatgpt solving my questions and giving me life advice. But now, I feel like I can't live without it. Technology will bring people closer they said, we're all hanging by the thread of an optic fibre now. The only way we are staying in touch with people , is with a continuous commentary on 20 second videos that make you exhale slightly. If you have nothing to talk to about a person except about a random video of another person, that rishta is nothing short of meaningless. Imagine now, even when people are sitting in front of each other , they show each other the same videos. Whatever happened to a cup of coffee or tea(judging you) and some talking, about the economic and political state of the world right now(jaden smith reel reference), if that's your cup of tea(pun intended). You would've watched about 3 reels in the time you got to this sentence, provided you didn't already watch three while reading this :)
